Delivery Policy
Our picking, packing and delivery is linked to what you ordered and where you want the goods to be delivered.
Delivery of your products takes place within Two (2) to Five (5) working days.
Mega Paints & Hardware does not deliver on weekends or any South African public holidays.
Deliveries take place during office hours, 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday, and are limited to 1 delivery address per order.
Where unforeseeable delays and out of stock situations occur, every reasonable effort will be made to inform you if we believe there will be a substantial delay in your delivery.
Delivery Costs are as follows:
Free delivery for orders over R800, within a 0 – 40kms radius of the MegaPaints Eastgate store. Orders under R800 will incur a delivery fee. If goods are ordered incorrectly, or if an error is made by a customer on checkout, then extra delivery charges will apply (bricks, blocks, building sands per m3, Roof Tiles and cement will incur additional delivery fees.)
Orders over R800, between 40 – 80kms will be charged R300 delivery fee.
For all orders below R800, a delivery charge will be applicable and will depend on the distance from the store.
- 0-40kms R250 delivery fee
- 41 – 80kms R550 delivery fee
For orders over 80kms, we make use of a third-party delivery contractor to deliver and you will be contacted with details of the applicable delivery fee.
Therefore, orders outside our delivery zones will only be processed subject to a delivery quotation being approved.
Kindly ensure that you are available to accept your purchase. Should you not be available, ensure that you have given someone permission to accept the delivery on your behalf and include this in your Delivery Information.
Goods must be signed for upon delivery by yourself or your nominated Agent that is over the age of 18.
If the delivery package is damaged before accepting the delivery, please do not accept the delivery and contact us immediately.
Click and Collect for Goods ordered and paid for online may also be collected from Mega Paints & Hardware dispatch directly. Please indicate on the order if you require this option.
Delivery of Building Materials:
Kindly note that depending on the distance and weight of your order, you will be subject to additional delivery charges.
Should an order of Building Materials require more than 1 Truck Load, an extra handling fee / delivery charge will be required.
You will be contacted with the details for the extra charge.
